Healing and relaxing foot baths are an ideal way to deal with problems such as cold feet, infections or an unpleasant smell. They can be used every day and the prize will be beautiful feet and nails.

Apple vinegar and salt bath for anti-perspiration and athlete’s foot

Due to many positive qualities, natural apple cider vinegar is an ideal home care product. It has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and regulating properties on the skin’s natural pH. To treat the perspiration of the skin and ringworm, add two tablespoons of apple vinegar and three tablespoons of salt per liter of water. The bath should last about 10-20 minutes and the water temperature should be 38 degrees Celsius.

Baking soda bath for soft skin and against unpleasant smell

In the case of swelling or burning feet, relief will bring a bath with baking soda. Discomfort disappears immediately and a pleasant warmth spreads through the body. In addition, baking soda works great on odors and removes unpleasant sweat on the feet. Use about 3 teaspoons of baking soda for one bath. Hard, cracked skin will become soft again, and then it can be gently cleaned, for example using a soda scrub. The water temperature should be 36-40 degree Celsius, and the bath should last a maximum of 30 minutes. This bath is the perfect introduction to further nail care.

  1. Time for peeling

After soaking your feet, it is good to gently remove dead skin cells.


  • medium cucumber
  • a small lemon (peeled)
  • half a glass of sugar

Cucumber and lemon go to the blender, add sugar to the mixture. We do peeling and then leave the feet covered for around 5 minutes with peeling so that they soften and have a chance to smooth.

  1. Moisturising

Spring is the season for sandals and bare feet. It is perfect time to give your feet proper care!

Home treatments are good to support with daily care. Remember to moisturise your heels and feet every day. In the evening, after bathing, apply cream to your feet.

A basic recipe for night foot cream

  • 50g shea butter
  • 25g coconut oil
  • 25g cocoa butter

Melt shea butter and cocoa butter in a water bath.

Mix liquid butters and coconut oil to a creamy consistency using a whisk or blender.

Whisk while chilling or stirring until a thick, smooth consistency is obtained. At this stage you can add any essential oil (5 drops).

Pour the finished cream into a clean box or a screw jar.
