Ideas for birthday and celebration cakes
Here you will find my pictures for birthday and celebration cakes ideas – vanilla, chocolate, also fancy decorated cakes and celebration cakes with delicate creams and refreshing jams.
So how to make celebration or birthday cake? It is very simple.
And I’m building a cake like this:
- after baking and cooling the sponge, I’m cutting into 3 parts (or 2 if you prefer thicker)
- a layer of sponge cake soak with milk and vanilla extract (or any other flavour)
- sprinkle with cocoa (optional)
- here you can add any jam if you prefer
- I put half the cream on it and spread it evenly
- I put the second layer of sponge on the cream and gently press
- soak the sponge cake with milk and vanilla extract
- sprinkle with cocoa or add jam (optional)
- the other half of the cream is evenly layered
- and arrange the third layer of sponge cake, gently pressing it
Now, prepared cake cover tightly with cling film and put in the fridge for 2-3 hours, and preferably at night, so that the cream solidifies well and the cake pleasantly moistens.
The next day I take the cake out of the fridge and the cake tin and immediately transfer it to the platter or plate on which I will serve.
I am preparing a cream to finish and decorate the cake.
After decorating, put in the fridge. Basically, you can serve immediately, but chilled is the best, so I leave it for about 30 minutes.
